WORK AFTER BABY

I think i have officially hit a slump.

With Ruby almost a year old i am slowly starting to get itchy feet, do i go back to what i was doing or do i start a whole new career. With a baby this second choice seems rather impossible, mind you going back to work hard either way. You have to think of childcare etc then costs of everything is it worth it?

So here i am right now, with my love of styling just about anything this is something i would like to make a bigger part in my life. I loved visual merchandising in my previous roles, the creativity to do just about anything within a theme excited me. Above are some wonderful inspiration pictures i use and look for everyday. I have so many ideas in my head that i want to see in real life, i just don't know where to start. 

I would love to hear from mums out there on how they went back or started fresh?

DAILY READS

As i currently am using the hotspot feature on my phone. Yes we have moved house and are currently waiting for our internet to be connected. I thought i would introduce a new post feature i wish to do every week. This is my daily reads which will be posted every week ( maybe i should of re thought the name but you get it ).

I love this blog because i absolutely love her fashion sense.

She also gave me the confidence to wear coloured jeans. This was something i was intrigued by, when i went to New York in January i bought them. My first thought was to look at Jens site for more inspiration on how to wear them.

DESSERT TABLES

As i put this post together i just noticed how colourful it was & it made me smile.

We are moving house tomorrow so the blog may be quiet for a few weeks as we need to wait for internet. I wanted to leave all my beautiful readers with my current inspirations for my wedding dessert table. If you cant tell i seem to have a running theme with shades of pinks. Trust me i am not the type of girl that every wears pink unless it is pjs or in my socks by some odd chance.

RUSTIC WEDDINGS

As i am very unwell at the moment i thought why not research, research & research.

I love looking wedding themes and today is no different.

Its all about mason jars , candles , trees & the whole unfinished but finished look.

I love the idea of the rustic look as i find it to be comfortable, not to over done & calming.

The great thing is most of the things you can probably make yourself to cut down on costs.

Another thing i have been noticing is people going for the browns & muted tones then throwing in a contrasting bright colour like pinks or yellows.

Rustic is certainly a massive inspiration for me right now.

What is more romantic then getting married in a wonderful unkept forest with pine trees and a beautiful white dress to feature in the photo.

PHOTOS WITH A BABY

Today as i read my daily blogs i noticed one thing , everyone has a great photo introducing themselves.

So i thought after we had just gone out for some breakfast ( meaning we were not in pjs ) i would take a photo of myself & Ruby for my photo.

These are sadly the ones that we came out with, i don't think they are quiet right for a blog.

I wanted to share them with my wonderful readers even if they aren't right.

Sometimes cameras and babies just don't work at all.

How does one get a fantastic photo with their baby that is my question to you all ?
